Actions

How to use the Action form

The action section is the main section of the application, where it is convenient to enter all information by analogy with a chat. When choosing the type for entering data, the application itself determines where to enter the data. Later this information can be found in additional sections, lists and graphs.

In actions, filtering by date goes by the date the information was added, not by the date that was specified. For example, if you wrote down on Thursday that you spent $1 on coffee on Wednesday, then in actions this entry will be found by Thursday, and in the money section by Wednesday.

AI recognition in the Action form

Enter a short description in natural language and let AI fill the record type and structured fields. The form remains editable: check the filled values before saving.

  • For money, AI can identify the amount, currency, category, operation type, subscription, date and a matching card; card choice can take the currency into account.
  • For time, AI can identify the duration, category and date.
  • For tasks, AI can turn the text into a title and identify a date in a longer description.
  • If a matching previous record exists, its details can be used as a starting point for the new form.

General information

When sending a message without specifying a type, the message is sent simply as a note, not attached to anything.

Message Markdown Syntax

Use standard Markdown syntax. Start every task checklist item on a new line and include a space after ]. These items appear as checkboxes in task previews and analytics, and changing a checkbox saves the new state in the task description.

Money

  1. If you type "Bus" in the input field and click the "Money" type icon, then "Bus" will be substituted in the title field, and the rest of the data can be filled similarly to the previous matching record.
  2. If no previous matching record is found, AI extracts the amount, category, card, payment type, subscription, and date from the text.

Time

AI can detect time, category, and date for time records.

Tasks

The text you enter becomes the task title. AI can also determine the date for longer texts.

Notes

This type is suited for additional data on projects, clients, and for keeping a diary with categories and dates.
